Friday - Modriki Island

Bula! Set sail on M.V. Fiji Princess from Port Denarau for the outer Mamanuca Islands with the first overnight anchorage being the picturesque Modriki Island, the location for the Tom Hanks movie Cast Away. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and canapés as you watch the sunset followed by the à la carte Captain’s Welcome Dinner and be entertained by our talented singing and guitar-playing crew.

Tonight we anchor at Modriki Island

Saturday - Soso Bay

Step ashore and enjoy a swim or wander along the beach at Modriki before or after breakfast. Swim with reef sharks at Mouva Reef en route to our next destination and after lunch, we take a visit to the chiefly village of Soso. Tonight, feast on a traditional Thali dinner of exquisite Indian dishes, followed by an extravaganza of Bollywood dancing..

Tonight we anchor at Soso Bay

Sunday - Naukacuvu Island

Sunday is a day of rest in Fiji. After breakfast attend a village church service. Watch as the Chef demonstrates how to make the traditional Fijian dish Kokoda and spend the afternoon at the beach. Tonight’s buffet has a range of dishes from Fiji along with a choice of European dishes. This evenings entertainment is Fijian-style bingo.

Tonight we anchor at Naukacuvu Island

Monday - Yalobi Bay

Your voyage into tropical paradise begins onboard high speed catamaran transfer to the Sacred Isles. Welcome aboard Fiji Princess, where you will enjoy a tasty lunch. Spend your day swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. In the afternoon you can learn the art of Fiji style high tea. Partake in a cooking lesson on how to make ‘Roti in Lolo’. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine at sunset, prior to the Captain’s Dinner. Entertainment provided by our talented singing, dancing, guitar-playing crew.

Tonight we anchor at Yalobi Bay

Tuesday - Blue Lagoon

Our destination today is the famed Blue Lagoon and our own private beach where we can tie M.V. Fiji Princess off to a coconut tree! Jump off the back into the turquoise waters or take a tender boat to shore where our full bar awaits you. Today’s activities include snorkelling, fish feeding, non-motorised water sports, water aerobics and volleyball. Dine on the beach all day today, including morning and afternoon tea, a buffet-style lunch and a traditional Lovo meal cooked underground for dinner under the stars, followed by a traditional Meke performance by the local villagers.

Tonight we anchor at Blue Lagoon.

Wednesday - Sawa-i-Lau Island

Most of the day is at leisure at Blue Lagoon. Spend the morning on a guided island walk, visit an island style cake shop and shell market. Participate in Fijian activities including; basket weaving or a guided snorkelling safari. Lunch is on board while cruising north, to the Sawa-I-Lau Caves. On arrival we set off on a private guided visit to the Sawa-I-Lau Caves. Steps rise from the shore up to the first cave. You can view the majestic cavern from the stairs or take to the water. A short swim through an underwater passage takes you into the second of these stunning limestone caves. This evening includes a special visit to the village of Tamusua. A yaqona ceremony, and traditional village style feat sitting on floor mats.

Tonight we anchor at Sawa-I-Lau Island.

Thursday - Drawaqa Island

Cruise to Drawaqa Island and on arrival at Drawaqa, our Marine Biologist will tell you all about the local fish, marine life and the conservation work the Vinaka Fiji Volunteer team are doing in this area. During May to October you can snorkel with manta rays. Visit an island school to view Vinaka Fiji Volunteers’ work. Enjoy a barbecue dinner onboard, under the stars. Tonight, we party Fiji style.

Tonight we Anchor at Drawaqa Island.

Friday

Breakfast onboard cruising to Port Denarau. The crew will sign a traditional Isa Lei farewell song.

Gratuities

Blue Lagoon Cruises Ltd proudly sponsors and supports the charitable organisation ‘Vinaka Fiji Trust’ and the excellent work it does in the villages of the Yasawa Islands. Rather than a gratuity payment, Blue Lagoon Cruises Ltd will automatically add a donation to ‘Vinaka Fiji Trust’ to your account at the end of your stay. Guests will have the chance to decline it or alter the amount. The donation amounts that will be shown will be FJD$100 per cabin for 3 & 4 night cruise guests or FJD$150 per cabin for 7 night cruise guests.

- Socialise with Yasawan locals over a traditional feast cooked and enjoyed in their village
- Be carried away to paradise with a full day relaxing at our private beach on Nanuya Lailai Island
- Enjoy a traditional 'Lovo' dinner under the stars at Nanuya Lailai, our private beach followed by a 'Meke' performance from local Fijian villagers
- Take a guided walk across an island to one of the South Pacific’s most remote cafes, 'Lo's Tea Shop'
- Learn the Fijian arts of basket weaving, wood carving and learn to cook traditional dishes
- Dine on traditional Fijian meals and a range of international cuisine
- Get friendly with the local reef fish when you participate in fish feeding or really get to know some of the bigger the reef 'locals’ when you swim with sharks or manta rays (seasonal)
