Hi, my name is Sami I’m 19 years old and I’m from Amsterdam. I love to cook, travel and make good memories with my friends. It was my dream from a really young age to go see the world after school, and that’s exactly what I’m doing this year. Now most of the world finally opened it’s borders I can’t wait to go travel and discover all different cultures, try new kinds of food and experience all the different landscapes. Because it rains a lot in Amsterdam I would like to go somewhere more sunny and less cold like Southeast-Asia or go interrailing through the south of Europe. I really like to take risks and go on adventures when I’m travelling, and to have the opportunity to share that with others would be incredible.
For example, last year I went ziplining in Costa Rica on the highest zipline of Central- and South-America, despite the fact that I’m afraid of heights. This was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done and the people who were there could definitely tell by the fact that I was screaming the whole time. One thing I definitely want to do if I would be the travel ambassador for Kilroy is going bungee jumping and conquering my fear of heights.
